Desert Edge Pom has been making a name for itself. Our experienced coaches train our team to reach the top, maintain sportsmanlike conduct on and off the field, and always have a good time. About Desert Edge Pom
The pom & cheer squad exists to promote spirit throughout the school during both athletic and non-athletic functions. Being a part of the spiritline program will also provide an educational experience that promotes personal growth: 1) each member experiences what it is like to work with and be a member of a team; 2) students are provided with an opportunity to develop and expand their own abilities; 3) each student will have the opportunity to take on various leadership roles.

Tryout Information:
All athletes interested in trying out for Pom or Cheer will need to complete the required forms through RegisterMyAthlete.com. You can download the instructions under the files tab. For questions regarding Register My Athlete, please reach out to Mrs. Hamilton in the athletics office.
A sports physical is required for tryouts. The athletic fee does not need to be paid until athlete has made a team. All physical paperwork needs to be uploaded to RegisterMyAthlete.com
Fill out the tryout application. Application can be found under the files tab. Bring the application to tryouts.
Be sure to attach a color photo to the application.
Give teacher evaluations to all teachers. You do not need to collect them as teachers will turn them in to coaches.
Attend tryouts Monday, April 8th, Tuesday, April 9th and Wednesday, April 10th in the Main Gym.
